moved to a Hop Spyder instead of using whole hops all the time. Also use this same spyder for Whirlpooling/hopstand post boil. I use an elbow to put the output directly into the spyder.

I took meegs advise and also replaced the Mash hose with Loc-Line segments. I went and ordered the halo ring as well but pulled the end off, so that the recirculating wort does not come out of the end of the Loc-Lines with as much volume. Some of the volume is bled off by 12 little nozzles prior to exiting the end

On the Fermenters, I never seem to use the 2nd cap port.

I blocked off the 2nd port by hammering a nickel into a beer nut and cutting some silicone tubing to cover the nickel:

If anyone knows how to make the images smaller let me know....

Don't know how to make them smaller but I right clicked on them & opened them in a new tab. I could then see the whole pic. I took the same advice about the loc-line & have been very happy with the results.

This is by no means a plug, but Irfanview is a free photo editor. I've been using it for years with great results, and the learning curve is short and sweet.

Check it out:
http://www.irfanview.com

It only runs on Windows, though :o

Hey, I was just thinking about this! I think I will exchange the images for links to where the pictures are being hosted. Else, I will shrink the images to 2920x1080 or something along those lines.

when I get to my computer I will check out the recommended software option.
