How to you guys and gals, address the cleaning of these after a brew?

I've been boil them for 15minutes in a small pot, but I'm starting to think it may be overkill, and perhaps shorting the life of the gaskets. What's everyone else doing?

A quick brushing with PBW, and a soak for 10 minutes in star-sar.

I have not boiled the gaskets, but you make me wonder if I should. Realistically, everything TC'd on my system post boil, will be exposed to boiling wort or water at some point before the fermenter.

I wonder if holding them in a steam bath - like when I sanitize my fermenter would suffice and be gentler.

I just toss them into the sink with hot water/PBW. Soak a little and use a quick brush as needed, rinse and air dry. After a couple days, I either reassemble or store them in plastic container.

I don't see the need to boil them.

I just clean them up with some PBW solution. That's it. Before I brew, I run a Five Star Saniclean solution through the assembled BM from HLT - - > MT - - > BK. Then I fill the HLT with carbon filtered water and drop in my bucket heater which I have set to turn on about 4 hours before I intend to brew (so the night before).

I pull them off and PBW soak. I have examined these over the years post CIP and I think that the onslaught of PBW recycle, hot water flush and StarSan recirculation pretty much kills everything dead.

I'm with HopMonster - after cleaning, I hit 'em with sanitizer when going back-on. No issues.
